Where can the REFINE spray gun be used?

REFINE Spray Gun can be used for furniture repair, automobile, painting, arts and crafts, industrial products painting, factory painting and other purposes.

What are the common types of air spray guns?

Gravity Spray Gun: The paint cup is above the gun and gravity is used to flow the paint into the nozzle.
Siphon Spray Gun: The paint cup is below the gun and the paint is sucked into the nozzle by suction.

How do I choose the right nozzle size?

The choice of nozzle size depends on the type of paint and the detail required for spraying. Generally speaking, fine nozzles are suitable for detailed spraying, while larger nozzles are suitable for large spraying areas.

Common nozzle sizes include 1.0mm, 1.3mm, 1.4mm, 1.7mm, 1.8mm, 2.0mm etc.

What basic equipment is needed to use a REFINE air spray gun?

The following equipment is usually required to use a spray gun:
Compressor: to provide the required compressed air.
Air piping: connects the compressor to the spray gun.
Paint: to select the right paint for the specific spraying needs.
Protective equipment: such as masks, protective glasses and gloves to ensure safe operation.

Usage Guidelines

Can this REFINE spray gun be used with a 2 quart pressure pot?

Pressure pot is not well suited. We recommend you use an air compressor. The recommended working pressure is about 50 psi(3.5bar) and the cfm is about 9-10.5.

How many CFM’s needed at what psi?

The recommended working psi is 36-50 and cfm is about 13.42.

What safety precautions should I take when using a spray gun?

Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks, protective eyewear and gloves. Ensure that the work area is well ventilated to avoid inhaling hazardous spray substances.

How do I solve the problem of uneven spray gun application?

Uneven spraying can be caused by clogged nozzles or needle valves, erratic air pressure, and improper paint viscosity. Cleaning the spary gun, replacing damaged parts, and adjusting paint and air pressure can solve these problems.

How do I adjust the spray pattern of REFINE spray gun?

The REFINE spray gun has a function to adjust the spray pattern, which allows you to change the shape of the spray (round, fan, etc.) by adjusting the position of the nozzle and air cap.

How to maintain REFINE spray gun?

Regular Cleaning: Clean the spray gun's nozzle, air cap, needle, and container with cleaning tools before and after use. Remove residue to prevent clogging and damage.
Storage and Protection: Thoroughly clean the spray gun after use and store it in a dry, clean area to prevent dust and impurities.

Why did the spray gun started leaking after I cleaned it?

Disassemble and clean it again to make sure if any trash stuck in threads. Also, make sure the little accessories and spring are put over the needle in the correct order.

What if the spray gun leaks oil after cleaning?

Re-disassemble and clean to make sure no debris is stuck in the threads. Also, make sure the gadgets and springs are installed on the needle valve in the correct order.

How do I clean my REFINE air spray gun?

Cleaning your REFINE air spray gun is important to prolong its life and maintain spraying results.

The steps include: preparing cleaning tools and solvents, disassembling the gun, cleaning the nozzle and needle cartridge, cleaning the gun body, reassembling and testing, and finally storing it in a dry and clean place.
